A registration is counted when a participant successfully completes payment for an event. Group registrations count as the number of people in the group (e.g., registering a team of 4 counts as 4 registrations).
Yes, you can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time from your billing settings. Changes take effect at the start of your next billing cycle.
Participant payments are processed through Stripe. Entry fees are collected by Courtly as the merchant of record. Organizers can submit expense requests to receive compensation for event-related costs.
The Free plan is available forever with up to 16 registrations per month. You can use this to test Courtly with your first events before upgrading.
Stripe's standard payment processing fees apply to all transactions (typically 1.5% + €0.25 for European cards). These are separate from Courtly's subscription fees.
