Small events, drop-in sessions, friendly games
A flat €1 per paid registration when the entry fee is under €30.
Example: a €20 entry fee → player pays €21, you keep €20.
Tournaments, leagues, multi-day events
5% of the entry fee, billed per paid registration. Same simple rule, scales with what you charge.
Example: a €50 entry fee → player pays €52.50, you keep €50.
The fee is added to the player's payment at checkout and collected together with the entry fee. You don't get a separate invoice — the fee is already accounted for before the money reaches you.
The participant pays it on top of your entry fee. You set the entry fee, Courtly shows the total at checkout, and you receive your full entry fee.
No. There are no monthly fees, no minimums, and no commitments. If you don't collect, you don't pay.
If you refund a registration, the Courtly fee is refunded to the participant along with the entry fee. You never owe a fee on a refunded registration.
Stripe's standard processing fees apply on top (typically around 1.5% + €0.25 for European cards). Those are taken by Stripe directly from each transaction.
